June 24, 2016 -- In honor of His Majesty's upcoming 80th anniversary of his nativity, H.R.H. Dom Duarte, Duke of Braganza, graciously will award the Order of Merit of the Royal House of Portugal at the rank of Grand Collar, of which the collar was received today by His Majesty's Private Secretary. This beautiful collar and the accompanying Letters Patent will be presented to His Majesty on 29 June.
His Majesty is deeply touched and thankful for his friendship with H.R.H. Dom Duarte, Duke of Braganza, and the other members of the Royal House of Braganza.
