Multiple Masses Held for His Late Majesty

November 17, 2016 -- A number of solemn Masses have been held for His Late Majesty King Kigeli V around the world.

On October 31, a traditional Mass in Latin was held for His Majesty at St Athanasius Roman Catholic Church, and His Late Majesty's body was present.

Out of respect for the sanctity of the service, no pictures were taken of the Mass.

His Late Majesty was honored by the attendance of T.I.H. the Prince and Princess Ermias of Ethiopia.

Several members of the royal family of Rwanda and other friends showed their respects to His Late Majesty.

Another Mass for His Late Majesty was held in Naples, Italy, at the Royal and Pontifical Basilica of San Francesco on November 16, 2016.

On October 22, another Mass was held at St. Luke Orthodox Church in Palos Hills, Illinois.  The senior Rwandan advisers are very grateful to S.E. Ratu Muda Dame Karen Cantrell, GCCR, GCCCR, GCLR, for her efforts.

Another Mass was held in the Washington area, and the senior Rwandan advisers are grateful to Dame Malka Bas Reuven, DLR, for her work, including a Patriarchal blessing from Samuel II, Patriarch of the Byzantine Greek Church of Hungary and Grand Prince of Erdely.
